This is LiveMeta speaking! The new "thing" in social networking is on it's way.
We are currently undergoing initial development but hope to be with you (in beta form) very shortly!
WTF!?
We know, we know. There are 1001 social networks out there in the wilds of the internet - whats so special about one more?
LiveMeta is a new breed of network: Web 3.0 as it were. It is built around the ideals of privacy, security and identity (read our manifesto!).
In fact our concept is so cool, and involves such brilliant ideas, that that's all we can tell you for now! You'll just have to check back when we go Beta to find out exactly what we mean.
Who are you?
Good question - if a little complicated. LiveMeta is currently a non-commercial project being worked on by a few friends spread across the globe.
The original idea was by a guy called tom; he is in charge because we know the
last Tom to build a social network did pretty well (he's our lucky charm!).
The project is currently funded privately by the dev team and also by some Web Future initiatives & various foundations. In the future, hopefully, it will be self sustaining.
Umm, OK...
Yes we know this is all very vague. Just bear with us whilst we iron out bugs and get the core of LiveMeta ready for a beta launch.

LiveMeta: A Privacy Manifesto
LM has grand ideas. But why shouldn't we strive for these things? To change the web for the better you have to be just a little bit idealistic!
This is our manifesto.
- Identity: Everyone is entitled to a free and open identity on the internet
- Privacy: We should be able to choose who can see what we had for dinner last night
- Security: Trust should never be given lightly, and can only be earned over time
